The Turntable and the Breakdancer are 2 really fun and creative sequences to warm up the core, shoulders and hips! The Turntable is really a full- body warm up that includes a twist and moving up and down from the floor. The version of the Breakdancer I show is very basic- you could add on arms or other flair. 🙂 Repetition is key to learn the sequences, smooth out the transitions and warm up completely. In my classes, we have added on to this- and in some cases used this as the “vinyasa” transition! These are great warm up options for sequences that have twisting actions or twist poses for your peak pose. Have fun with it and let me know how it goes!
