Myofascial Release (MFR) is a practice that uses gentle, sustained pressure to work with fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds, supports, and connects the muscles throughout the body. It can help improve mobility, increase body awareness, and reduce unnecessary tension.
This four-week series combines yoga and myofascial release techniques to help you better understand your body as an interconnected whole. Each week, we’ll focus on a different region of the body, using movement and MFR balls to explore areas of restriction while supporting tissue health and improving the way the body moves.
Appropriate for students with some yoga experience, this experiential series combines movement, anatomy and MFR to help you better understand your body and support a sustainable yoga practice.
