Everyone loves a post- practice treat! This sweet treat is a favorite combination of Chocolate and Hazelnut- with oats, dates and lots of flavor! It is easy, healthy and yummy. The recipe is adapted from the book, Energy Balls, by Christal Sczebel. The book is fabulous and I love many of the recipes. Enjoy!

  • 1 C Pitted Dates
  • 1 C raw Hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 C rolled oats
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 C Chocolate Vegan Protein Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Almond or nut butter
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4- 1/3 C almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp mini Chocolate chips
  1. Process everything except for the almond milk and chocolate chips for about 1 min. I usually get the dates, hazelnuts and oats going first, then continue to add.
  2. Slowly pour the almond milk and continue to process the at a slow speed until a sticky mass forms.
  3. Add chocolate chips.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls. You should have about 12 balls.
  5. Freeze for 30 min. Store in an airtight container in the frige.
