Twist + Bind and Unwind!

Bound Revlunge

Deepen your practice with twists and binds! Often these poses go hand in hand :) Binds help up open our shoulders and twists move into the space of the low back and hips. Both poses teach us to focus inward, let go of expectations and create ease when we feel bound and constricted. Bring an open heart, and open mind and be ready to explore! Expect to practice: Bound Side Angle, Bound Triangle, Birds of Paradise and a variation of both seated and standing twists including Bound Revolved Lunge.

Advanced Vinyasa Series- Yoga on High- Inversions
Explore a SHIFT in perspective by practicing inversions! Inversions teach us how to cultivate patience, build strength and embrace the unknown. They teach humility, promote confidence and are fun to practice! In this series, we will explore a variety of Inversions using the Vinyasa method in an approachable way. Part yoga class and part workshop, a variety of poses will be sprinkled into the class sequence to specifically prepare the body for going upside down. There will be ample time to practice, ask questions and receive 1 on 1 attention. Expect to play with Headstand, Pincha Mayurasana, Scorpian and Chinstand. Every class will finish with Shoulderstand and Halasana to cool the body and calm the mind. The series will allow you to work slowly at your own level to develop the tools you need for a sustainable inversion practice. Be curious, courageous and come to the mat ready to play! A consistent yoga practice required.
